Which subjects should I select for CSS?

how to select subjects for css

To choose a subject;

Try to opt those subjects whose syllabus interlinked as much as possible. In this way you would not have to work for each subject separately.

For example, it is a good choice to opt International Relations along with History of the USA/US History. By preparing I.R. 30-40% of US History syllabus is covered automatically.

Secondly, try to choose those subjects whose syllabus is short. Like for example, the syllabus of Gender Studies is very short.

CSS High Scoring Subjects

Opt only that subject which you understand easily.

Never choose subject based on your qualification. Suppose you have done BS or MS in subject ‘A’ but you are not good in it, though it is your degree subject, never opt it.

Subjects such as Mathematics, Accounting, Statistics and Finance are high scoring only if you are good at them and you can avoid making minor mistakes. Problem with these subjects is, a minor mistake during solution can lead you to an incorrect answer. Thus, you will lose both marks and time during paper. In contrast theoretical papers do not have such issues.
